What is the course about?
This is an exploration of movement as a lead into meditation. Some simple exercises with a particular focus on parts of the body help us relax and open up.

Moving and seated relaxation and meditation

By the end of this course you should be able to...
Experience relaxation in both movement and stillness.
Have two or three exercises to take away and practice at home.
What level is the course and do I need any particular skills?
Suitable for anyone in basic good health. No experience required.
How will I be taught, and will there be any work outside the class?
A practical movement class with verbal instructionNo work outside unless you want to practice at home!
Are there any other costs? Is there anything I need to bring?
Bring clothes you can move in and an open mind.
When I've finished, what course can I do next?
Tibetan Yoga, Kum Nye, or meditation classes at the City Lit.
