Care work & support

Care Work & Support Courses in London and Online

City Lit care and support courses are aimed at those wanting to help others in areas including, adult social care, mental health, youth work, childcare and information, advice or guidance. We have a range of recognised qualifications, introductions and personal and professional development courses to choose from. We welcome applications from those with lived experience in these areas and we work closely with organisations and charities all over London to provide opportunities for learners to make a difference.

We run courses out in the community, in college and online. Our courses have been chosen to best reflect the needs of the care and support sector and the changing needs of our students. Courses vary from long term (spanning over two terms), or short term and one day courses. We also have evening and weekend courses.

Our specialist care and support tutors have first hand knowledge as professionals in their field, making lessons relevant and engaging. We have a thriving and diverse team, who are committed to ongoing learning and development. Our tutors are very supportive of our diverse range of learners.

Our learners have gone on to volunteer and work in organisations such as St Mungoes, NHS, Groundswell and Change Grow Live. We are also proud to see many of our learners continue with education to level 3 and beyond.

Many of our courses are delivered online. For more information about our live online courses, please see our guide to online learning.
