Digital skills are now a universal skill that is as essential to participating, progressing and expressing yourself within society as English and Maths.

Our Digital and Office Skills courses will develop all of your general digital and computing skills from beginner to advanced and do so in a way that situates your learning and prepares you for the world outside the classroom, for working and non-working life. You will not only develop your digital abilities but also the most in-demand skills for life: problem-solving, analysing, decision-making, working together, attending to details and seeing the bigger picture.

Whether you are recently redundant, returning to work, looking to upskill, or wanting to do everyday tasks and communicate better with family and friends, we have the courses to help you succeed.

  2. Becoming confident with digital skills: on your computer and online (beginner)

    Are you new to computers and the Internet? Do you need to increase your confidence with digital skills? Are you confused by Zoom? This course will ensure you have a solid foundation in using computers and being online. You will learn the essential features of creating, saving, storing different types of files and documents, including photos and letters in Word. You will develop your internet skills to find information quickly and efficiently, and learn how to transfer this information to different documents and people. You will also learn the basics of how of how to use Zoom to host meetings and communicate effectively online. Finally, you do all of this while learning how to remain safe online and to keep your files secure.



    This course is FREE if a) you are on a Low Wage or b) you are either on Jobseekers' Allowance (JSA) or Employment & Support Allowance(ESA) or c) you want to get a job or progress into a better job and you receive other state benefits (including Universal Credit). For more information click here
