This fun, inspiring day workshop explores the many sources of inspiration available to writers in their everyday lives.

Do you want to slow down aging? Do you want to be fit and healthy into your later years? This is the course for you! Learn which foods and drinks slow down ageing and protect your body from the diseases of older age, and which foods you should be avoiding. Gain a proper understanding of why some foods are so good for us, and why some are so damaging to our bodies. This is a relaxed and friendly class where questions are welcomed. It is packed with information and you should leave it feeling inspired to make healthier decisions about what you do and don’t eat and drink.







‘Nutrition to slow down aging part one’ and ‘Nutrition to slow down aging part two’ are two stand-alone three hour courses. You can take both courses, or just one, ideally take part one first, but it doesn’t matter if you do them the other way around. The courses complement each other.

Learn how to start sensing energy in yourself and in others. Explore the chakras and practice using crystals to balance your energy centres.

Do you know a hard of hearing or deaf person who needs to lipread you? Find out how lipreading works and how you can make some small adjustments in order to become more 'lipreadable'.

Shiatsu is a Japanese healing art, deeply rooted in the philosophy and practices of traditional Chinese medicine. This therapeutic form of body work involves applying pressure to the body using a practitioner’s thumbs, palms, elbows, knees and feet. Discover the basics of how to give this relaxing and therapeutic pressure point massage.

Discover the ancient practice of Indian Head Massage. You will learn the basics of how to give and receive this highly therapeutic and relaxing form of massage.

Come and experience the customs of Japan, and gain an insight into Japanese society. Open to all levels.

Curious about art history? Join us for this taster session where we explore different ways into visual art and its histories from the ancient to the contemporary.

If you are not sure how to find your ideal volunteering role, but want to pass on some of your hard-won skills, experience and knowledge, this course will give you some ideas and contacts for further exploration.

Do you want to improve your English and learn about London, its history, culture and people at the same time? On this course, you will visit places of interest and learn about the history of these places especially about the different people and cultures who have lived there, and about important events which have shaped the city. You will do your own research and so improve your reading and writing skills as well as your speaking and listening. In addition, you will feel more at home in London and able to participate in its rich and diverse life.
