Adapted for older learners our Silver Swans® ballet barre classes have been specifically designed for the over-55s. Ballet barre practice improves posture, strength and flexibility, focusing on the placement of the body and co-ordination. This class is suitable for those looking for a new way to exercise in a fun, relaxed learning group.

Perfect if you've never taken a ballet class before, or if you did ballet as a child and want to return. This men’s ballet course provides slow and fun training in how to use your body correctly, with a focus on correct placement, stance and posture.

Learn fundamental flamenco dance moves, steps and rhythms in an energising and supportive atmosphere. Experience the rich complexity of this Andalucian Gypsy art form, and develop presence, fitness and coordination.

We will continue developing ballet technique through barre, centre work and allegro exercises. Suitable for those who have been practicing for some time and have a strong grasp of techniques and terminology.

A friendly, intensive class, with live guitar accompaniment, that focuses on the confident execution of Flamenco dance with pleasure, passion and panache. Performance opportunities throughout the year. These classes are suitable for those who have danced Flamenco for at least a year.

Suitable for those who have completed at least one year of ballet classes or an improvers or equivalent elsewhere, and can demonstrate a confident use of classical technique. You will strengthen your classical ballet technique using barre, centre work and allegro exercises. These ballet classes are faster paced and will include more intricate combinations.

Our intermediate class is at a faster pace and is perfect for anyone with good previous tap experience. Extend your abilities and learn great new steps, tap moves and routines in a fun and inspiring environment. Tap shoes are essential.

Do you enjoy vintage social dancing events but don't have a partner? Looking to nail those moves and increase your freestyle confidence? Then this is the course for you! We will work on foot-work sequences and steps of authentic jazz dancing and Rhythm & Blues Strolls, progressing to faster pace flick kicks and turns for jive and Rock ’n' Roll dances. No partner required! This is a general level course suitable for beginners and improvers.

This short course offers you the opportunity to get introduced to pointe work at a pace that allows you to understand how to execute the basic exercises correctly. Working with correct alignment and safely are a focal point and to address any issues and concerns you may have. To get the most out of this course you should have attended regular ballet classes for at least 6 to 12 months.
