An exciting and rigorous one-year part-time training in the core disciplines of acting. Taught by industry professionals, this course will build your craft as an actor and is ideal for anyone intending to enter full time training at drama school.



The course fee is £3225.00. If you are unable to pay the course fee upfront, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learning Loan from the Student Loans Company (SLC) to help cover the cost. The Advanced Learner loan available for this course is £2225.00. The remaining fee of £1000.00 will need to be paid at enrolment. If you are unable to pay this fee upfront, you can talk to our Information, Advice and Guidance team who will advise you on other financial support available. How did a musical joke became arguably one of the most distinctive and expressive of all instruments? We will focus on this strand within the history of jazz but not exclusively.

A practical workshop for classical pianists who are new to studying harmony but have piano skills of grade 5 or higher. Broaden your understanding of piano repertoire by studying the underpinning harmonic constructs. It is recommended to complete all 3 modules (A, B and C) in preparation for the Keyboard harmony & Piano Performance Workshop. Break week: 27 Oct 2025.

Join City Lit's flagship piano repertoire project for 2025-26, The Complete Mozart Piano Sonatas. During the course of the year, participants will explore and play all 18 sonatas, culminating in a collaborative, professional quality recording. This course is split into two fifteen-week parts across the academic year; you are welcome to come to one or both parts of the project (see further details about each part below).

A friendly intensive class, that focuses on the confident execution of Flamenco dance with pleasure, passion and panache. This course is geared towards beginners (more experienced students wishing to revise the basics are also welcome). Performance opportunities throughout the year.

This short course offers you the opportunity to get introduced to pointe work at a pace that allows you to understand how to execute the basic exercises correctly. Working with correct alignment and safely are a focal point and to address any issues and concerns you may have. To get the most out of this course you should have attended regular ballet classes for at least 6 to 12 months. There is no class on 06/05/25.
