This popular course explores musical theatre singing. Grow your knowledge of the repertoire. Suitable for singers and actors wanting to improve their singing and 'acting through song' technique. Be guided through the basics to find the right singing qualities for this repertoire.

Enhance your aural awareness and improve your recognition and response to music in practice. We will sing intervals, scales and harmonies, and set routines for you to practise. Learn essential skills to improve your music reading and sight singing.

Come and enjoy reading aloud prepared passages from novels by Mary Shelley and Charles Dickens, while using your voice to provide narrative and create character. The class also contains vocal warm up and sight reading elements each week. The course will be held online.

Consolidate your techniques as you rehearse and perform in a duologue and/or a monologue from a published play text in this intensive practical course.

An exciting and rigorous one-year part-time training in the core disciplines of acting. Taught by industry professionals, this course will build your craft as an actor and is ideal for anyone intending to enter full time training at drama school.



The course fee is £2225, plus an upfront fee of £275 payable at the time of your enrolment.



If you are unable to pay the course fee upfront, you can choose to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan from Student Finance England (SFE) to help cover the cost. Have fun acting, with theatre games and character exercises. Build your confidence, meet new people while you will learn and practice the key techniques needed for performing improvised comedy scenes.

Explore classical operatic repertoire in this dynamic workshop with an experienced tutor and a professional accompanist. Learn which styles suit your particular voice-type. You must have at least four years' classical vocal tuition and be able to learn new repertoire quickly.

This course is for violin or viola players with at least five years’ experience. Come and enjoy working as a group with the tutor whilst learning repertoire, supported by technical studies. Break week 24th Oct 2022.

Discover the system of realistic acting that most professional actors use today — the approach to training, characterisation and rehearsal technique developed by the legendary Konstantin Stanislavski.

We will focus on developing ballet technique using barre, centre work and allegro exercises. Suitable for those who have completed at least one year of our beginner's ballet classes or equivalent and have a good grasp of the basic techniques and terminology.

This course is for students who have a minimum of five years' experience on clarinet (playing at grade 6 standard or above), come and work on both technique and solo repertoire and enjoy some group playing. Offered every term.
