City Lit offers performing arts courses in the heart of Covent Garden in Central London during the evening, daytime and at weekends. These fun and friendly sessions are for people who would like to read and discuss plays under the guidance of a theatre professional. Working in a supportive atmosphere you will read out loud and discuss the main themes of a range of both contemporary and classic texts.

    A workshop class for classical singers to explore the English song repertoire. For singers at intermediate level and above. Come and explore some of the less well-known masters of English art song writing. Some composers to consider are Frederick Delius, Thomas Dunhill, Rutland Boughton, Cyril Scott, Eric Coates and Herbert Howells.
