City Lit offers performing arts courses in the heart of Covent Garden in Central London during the evening, daytime and at weekends.   4. Community dance practice

    The course offers a chance to develop your knowledge and understanding of how to enable people in a way that they are able to express themselves creatively, learning new things and connecting with other cultures and to each other. Aimed at dance enthusiasts, emerging and existing artists or aynone interested in working in the community.



    The program will give a rounded overview of the nature and structure of this strand of participatory dance practice, covering areas such as professional practice, responsibility, health and safety, working with people and an understanding of legislation which underpins the practice.

  5. Jazz vocal improvisation

  6. Drumming 1A

    Come and learn the practical skills you need to play drumkit in contemporary music, including stick technique, four-way coordination, listening and music reading. You will play acoustic and practice kits in class. Please bring your own sticks.
