With the current situation leaving most of us at home, now is the ideal time to learn a new skill. Whether it is learning a language that you’ve always wanted to learn or exploring relaxation techniques to aid your wellbeing, keeping your brain and body active during this time is essential.

City Lit is offering a number of brand new courses starting from February.

Many of our courses are delivered online. The learning experience is very similar to being in a classroom, meaning that you can learn from our friendly and passionate tutors who want to help you to achieve your goals.

  6. Borderlines of Madness in 19th century fiction

    We will explore various themes related to insanity and altered states of consciousness by examining a number of 19th-century works of fiction. Novelists and poets often had the greatest insights into the workings of the mind, and many Victorian psychiatrists cited works of fiction in their case studies.   12. Masters of Cinema: Ennio Morricone: the movie maestro

  13. Cinema du Look

  14. Jazz rhythm section workout
